Unhappy Trailer hitch on a TL?

Okay before everyone Stones me to death, please listen.

Does anyone make a Hidden hitch or tow kit for the TL that is removable? Or is there even a tow-hitch kit available for the TL?

I am big into Motorcycle racing and was wondering if there was a way to install a hitch for the occasion that I need to pull a trailer BUT remove it when not needed.

I have seen them for several other cars but wasn't sure if the TL has something available for it. Otherwise I will just have to buy a cheap truck to handle my hobby duties....

I have seen a Trailer hitch on a TL but it was IN NO WAY hidden. I know that you can put one on there but if you do remove it as soon as you can. ILL post a pic of the TL later so you can see how hidious it looks.

hidden hitch generally refers to how much of the actual crossbar you can see. the receiver is always going to be visible. I've seen a few TL's with just the receiver showing, as the rest of the hitch bolts underneath the car. its not too bad. there are some other threads on here that have pics if you search

I have one on My Tl for towing my quads and Blackbird. The TL tows awesome for a sedan. Of course I have the 6spd. I would be very cautious of towing over 1000lbs with the auto. The 6 will tow 1500lbs with no issues at all

Try Hidden hitch or Uhaul.

Jeeze man, That is an insane amount of power. I would think 6th gear wheelies are in your near future.

Your wish has come true, no hitch on the TL. The o'l lady has decided she wants a TSX so I am back to looking at the Honda Ridgeline for me.....

I really like the new RDX, I just hope they don't change anything from the prototype....

Ridgeline will work nicely for a small trailer too. Good luck.

There's actually a brand named "Hidden Hitch" (hiddenhitch.com) that's really good. They're engineered to be as hidden as possible, hence the name, and are really easy to install. It's a widely respected brand. I installed one one my Volvo and have considered one for my 07 TL (although unlikely to get one). You can give them a call for fitment if you can't find your car listed.

99 TL with hitch

I have a 'hidden hitch' on my 99 TL and you can barely see it. I wouldn't recommend towing too much weight though. The car tends to constantly jerk while driving when towing heavy loads.
