Traded 2004 TL for 2005 RL

going to miss the speed and (relative) reliability.

Kudos to Ed Voyles Acura (Atlanta) for helping me get another Acura product.

Why the switch? I like both a lot and if I could have I would have rathered an RL as well.

Enjoy it!

With that siad, lol, I was looking at a new M45 up for auction and it has this awesome feature where the screen for the people in the map can display the map from the navigation. Just thought Id add that.

TL or RL

Congratulations on your new RL!!!
I recently had my 05 TL 6MT navi serviced and the salesman suggested that I take a new RL home as a loaner. I put about 60 miles on the car and certainly loved the car's good looks, interior etc but after a day I REALLY missed my TL. The RL felt "heavy" on the road and certainly lacked the speed and the agility of the TL. No doubt the RL is Acura's flagship but I prefer driving my TL.

Congrats on the upgrade. When my 05' TL was totaled I bought the 05' RL. You will truly enjoy it!

Well, you at least you stayed in the family. The RL's not a bad choice.

My friend did the same thing. His main reason was the SH-AWD. I went with him on a test drive and mannn..that thing had awsome handling!!! The salesman that took us for the test tackled an S turn at 90mph! I almost sh_t in my pants! The other thing I liked was that you can speak the street name to the NAVI. The Bose audio kicked ass too! I still prefer the TL styling though. I wish they'd put the SH-AWD in the TL.

Sorry for no response (was traveling since Thanksgiving), but another reason for the post is that this forum helped me tremendously throughout my ownership. In this day and age a support structure is nearly as important as the actual physical device (or car in this case).

The TL is a great car, and I wasn't planning on trading it. Honestly my girlfriend would love to trade her G35 sedan for my actual car but she's holding out for an AWD TL...

Just curious: Why does your girlfriend want to go from a G35 to a TL? And what made you want to trade in your TL?

I'm in the process of deciding between the G35 sedan and the TL. Your insight on those two models would be helpful. -thanks-
