Unhappy TPMS and VSA saved my arse

So for the TL owners who live in southern Florida you have experienced the worst freeway in America otherwise know as I-95. For those of you who do not know there is constant construction on it because of the barrage of hurricanes that sweep through Florida each and every summer. With all the construction and the hurricanes loads of debris is scattered all over the road. Most of the drivers do their best to avoid such obstacles because they can be seen and some you can not.

As for me I experienced the rath of I-95 this weekend. I was driving down I-95 from West Palm Beach to Miami to go party with P. Diddy (j/k). While crusing in my beautiful '06 NBP my MID turned red and began to flash. The TPMS needed attention. Cruising on a freeway at 75 (20 over) and having the TPMS go off is frightening. My car began to shake and I almost lost control because of the recent rains. Luckly the TPMS dedected which tire (driver rear) it was and I was able to compensate and get off the road. So low and behold it was fun to change a tire on I-95 with cars whizzing by you thankfully it was easy to change the tire with the kit the TL has. So I am glad that they added the TPMS to the '06 cause this story may have been different.

Man you should have called Acura Care and had them do it. I think it's 4yrs/40K for the service.

Cool that it worked the way they intended. Good know one was hurt.

Did the rim get screwed?
