is this torque steer ?

well i have MY06 TL aspec.

my first FWD.

prev cars were S2000, Audi A4 1.8TQ.

never experienced anything like this... when i step on the gas from dead stop, my car steering wheel flys left and right. LOL basically out of control.
is this what torque steer is? if it is.. it's crap.

well with the 06 its supposed to have less. But with FWD I think its just unavoidable.. you'll get used to it I think..

It is not gone, but Acura has tried to limit it, especially with the LSD in the 6MT. There's no fix in the 5AT other than to hold to the steering wheel when accelerating. Which tranny do you have?

Edit: Trancemission beat me by seconds!

Put down your cell phone and latte and hang onto the steering wheel while accelerating.

Torque steer is correct? LOL! Any kind of torque steer is a bad thing, IMO, as it represents something that is not neutral.

You didn't get torque steer in the Audi cuz the engine wasn't mounted sideways and you had the AWD .. no TS in the 4Mo Passat I just traded in on this one ..
