Toll Tag too bright?
Maybe this has been said before, but does your white EZ Toll Tag stick out at you like a sore thumb? For me, i was able to hide it under the top tint of the TL and it still worked, but I recently saw a TL with one under the tint and it catch's your attention where you arent suppose to be looking.
A way to fix this is to paint the back of the Toll Tag black. I thought it was a pretty cool trick for those who are anal about the clean look of your car.

I dont even put mine on the window. I just hold it up when I go through.
You'll be able to see it through any tint. Have you tried on your moon roof, on top of the cover? You should be able to get it on there if you raise the roof and put your hand over the edge.
BTW... off topic... I tried the reflective cover on my blazer's plate and looked online to see if it deducted from my account (I left the tag at home). They were able to read my plate 1 out of 10.

For us Dallas folks, I don't spend a whole lot of time on G-Bush or N-Tollway, but I couldn't live without the "tag".. Way to convenient and a bit cheaper.
Cheers

Like Trancemission, I tend to pull it out and place it/hold it on the windshield as I pass under the receiver... (my toll-tag that is...
)Would be nice to know if just placing it on the dash for that few seconds would be sufficient....
I put mine on the shaded area on both the Ody and TL, now here is a link for the cover I use, matches the interior perfectly...

I've mounted mine with the velcro right behind the rear-view mirror, where the top of the windshield is completely black. There is absolutely no way you can see the tolltag from the outside if you place it in that spot.

people @ school (couple of years ago) broke 2 of my license plate tags by bumping into them and then they wouldnt work when you go throught the Ez-Pass only lanes and people honking etc...so I switched back to the regular...
I have mine behing the rear view mirror and I cant even see it while driving unless I twist my neck...
I painted mine black more than a year ago. Two quick coats of flat black spray paint and you can barely see it from the outside. I've had a couple people sitting in the passenger seat complement me saying it was a good idea but that's about the only place you can see it from.

I did the exact same thing a while ago. Against the post of the rearview mirror and in the tint, it is essentially invisible from the outside and incredibly inconspicuous from the inside.
