TL vs. Silverado SS....

So I normally do not race on the street but on the way out of town this guy kept riding my ass not matter what speed I was going and did this for several miles.

So I had enough of his and switch lanes. I slow down beside him and drop the car into second. I hit the gas and make the car jump and few times and he is ready to go.

We are doing around 60 or so and both take off. I get the jump and have about a car on him. At first he was right on my ass, but around 95-100 mph I start leaving him pretty good. Last time I looked at the mph I was approaching 140. Before I let of the gas I was at least 7-10 cars ahead of him.

I slowed down and he did the racer fly by and got of the next exit.

Nice run. No need to run it up to 140MPH though. They run about 15.0 in the 1/4 but trap only around 89-90MPH due to the AWD plus terrible aerodynamics.

Remember, those particular domestics are EASILY modified with huge powergains.

They definitely don't run that off the factory floor.

The Trailblazer SS runs the 400HP 6.0L while the Silverado SS runs the 340HP 6.0L. The Silverado also weighs more.

Then how the hell did i beat the tbss from a roll by a door length. I would though the tbss would be more heavier then the silvardo.

They only trap about 96mph (From what I could gather), so that sounds about right from a roll.

From a dig, they do 0-60 in 5.7 seconds so they would probably hold you out in the 1/4.

You probobly raced the AWD version and not the RWD version. From a dig you would lose. The RWD version traps higher than the AWD.
