TL-S not coming out this year?

Yea. I know that sounds stupid.

I brought my car to the dealership today, and he said that they have 07 TLs coming in in manual AND auto and the TL-S will most likely come as an 08 model.

is that correct?

or is my dealership stoooopid.

Dealer Speak???

Sequoia..

It could be that your dealer was (is???) a bit confused about the product he is selling.

As NeuronBob has already pointed out, they have already announced it as a
2007model. What some might not realize is the new Type S TL will be available with either an Auto Trans with paddle shifter or as a manual. The base ( if you can call any model of the TL base) model will be available only as an automatic.

I think I am right in my facts here, but welcome any corrections from forum members.

I'm getting an itchy "wallet" finger for the Type S, but somehow I think I will be overruled on this..

Cheers

But... the TL *does* have rain sensing wipers!

Don't believe me? Here's how you can prove it to yourself...

The next time you're in your car and it starts to rain, turn on the wipers. Everywhere that the wiper touches, it will sense and remove the rain automatically.

Sorry... couldn't resist...

I got a similar story just yesterday from a dealer salesman in Southern California. He wouldn't say when they would have type-s available.
