im think buyin the TL-S Bumper will it fit 06 TL? does it come with the foglight ?

 

I think it would fit, ask your dealer or someone more knowledgeable on the forum...and no, I believe it doesn't include the foglights

Those are not the same cars. They should fit, but you may need to replace the grill with the 07 grill as well.

hey i have a question i want to get the 07 TL ASPEC front lip for my 05 tl i was wondering if THAT would also fit my car.

I don't remember the exact price, but they were well over $250 as an OEM part. I was replacing my bumper cover due to a small dent and was fine with the cost of the '07 cover and grill. It was the fog lights and new wiring that was the deal killer...

THE 07 LIPS WILL NOT FIT THE 04-06 BUMPER.. I ALREADY TRIED. i wasted $250 on mine. now its sits here in my room LOL its silver and brand new.

There are 2 lips available for the 07 type-s, a bottom bolt on and lower bumper cover that actually covers about 1/2 of the front bumper. Which one did you try?

The reason for my question is that I have an 05 TL and want to get the front bumper cover version (for lack of a better description) to put on my car for 2 reasons:

1. It give the car a much more agressive look.
2. I want to have my fog lights in the lower grills instead of integrated in the head light assemblies.

So, having said all that, can you tell me why it did not work? My thought was that if I need to cut the lower grill opening a little to make it fit, that would be O.K. because the a-spec cover would cover any of that anyway. Did it not fit because of those openings or another reason (i.e. fitment, width, curvature, etc.).

I would appreciate any input you might have...
