I've done many roadtrips in all sorts of cars (900+ miles each way) and I've never been more comfortable while driving my TL! It's NBP with the clear bra, navi, XM, bluetooth and all which make it very enjoyable and relaxing! Already looking forward to my next drive to KY!

It's pretty sad now that I think about it.. hahaha I'm just better off getting the car shipped there.. LOL Well, I based the prices that high since I don't know how cheap or expensive it is with gas across the states, even more so, all the times I may get lost (I have the non-navi TL), all that extra gas consumption comes into play. But then again, for the money spent, it's definitely worth it.

It is a great long distance ride! Spent 5 days in Northern Ontario after i bought it, 2 lanes and some beautiful roads. Love the passing ability, just a quick down shift from 6th to 4th and you are on your way!

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm leaving for KC on Wednesday, it should be around a 1000mi round trip. I purchased an acura bra from handa.com, should be arriving tomorrow. I'm gonna have it on during the ride there and see how it is. Hopefully it doesn't rain. I just had my A1 service the other week (full synthetic and tire rotation). Hopefully, it'll be a smooth trip. Thanks again.

I got a road trip from southern maryland to NYC. My oil life is @ 50%, should I change my oil before my trip?

I just want to reiterate what a great road trip car the TL is. It's comfortable, fast, and with A-Spec handles beautifully in the curves. XM is awesome for road trips! I have taken several major road trips. My TL has gone from Cleveland to:

NYC, DC, Savannah GA (TL on I-77 in the W. Va mountains ROCKS! Yeeeeeeehah!), Colorado Springs (1350 miles).

I am planning another trip to Colorado Springs to introduce our new baby boy to his other grandparents and am contemplating another road trip in the TL. It'd be easier than collecting the pack-n-play and stroller and praying the don't get lost in an airplane's cargo hold.

This car ROCKS.

Update

I just got back from my roadtrip from KC which came to about 1600mi. round trip. The car was great, I was averaging about 30-33 miles a gallon. The climate control, cruise control, navigation, and XM definitely made the trip great. A couple complaints though:

-The driver-side seat has development a nice ass print. Is there anything I can do about this?
-I developed quite a few rattles during the trip. The most notable one is the infamous rattle coming from the driver-side door (somewhere near the top).
-When the bass reaches a certain level, the back of the car starts vibrating. (Is there a known fix for this?)
-The car feels slower for some reason.

Other than that, great car.
