I didnt have any gap problems at all, it was flush on both sides and all I used was a detail towel to wipe the area clean put it on in less than 60 seconds... but I guess the blow dryer is for perfectionists
I couldn't picture a big roof spoiler on the TL either, but the good thing is that it's just a low-profile, subtle mod and dosen't look out of place.
I am not a fan of the S-Type rims XxAfG786xX, but that red stripe goes PERFECT!! Nice touch!

I did this mod as well, but i regret not getting the JDM one listed above.
There is a slight difference. I ordered a 45" lid spoiler from a 92 civic. It does reach from end to end, however its slightly angled at the tips so you get a tiny "v" shaped nitch.. Its not flush against the side like the JDM one is.. Its barely noticeable, but it is there... less then .5 cm
I've gotten used to it, but if I had to do it again, id get the JDM so it sits flush against the side.. I wish that guy would show a full blown picture of it.. he only shows you one side, so i dont know how much is missing on the other side, or if its flush...
oh and just an FYI.. i paid $30 shipped to my door from Taiwan. Also had a paint hookup.

if noone has noticed yet the tl and the 03-06 honda accord have the same exact replicated rear window. what i have done is bought a 03 accord sedan roof spoiler and installed it on my vehicle and it looks awesome. will post pics once i take them.
^^^ Not bad at all, but I would like to see a shot from far away to say I 100% like it. How much was it ne wayz?
I cant wait, I'll be in MIAMI myself in 2 weeks!!

acurachic05

if this is what it looks like from the rear I am going to pass
and if you paid $100 for it double pass
from this view it looks nice though

^ yeah i gotta agree.. Not feeling the accord roof wing at all.. if it was flush against the glass I'd be all over it.. side view looks nice, but from the back, ehhh its not my thing!
I hope the JDM one looks something like this:

sorry, can't seem to post pics into the thread! Anyways, something very subtle, flush against the glass. The lip spoiler i have is somewhat like that, but i dont like how it sticks up.

I really hope the JDM one looks something like this:

Sorry, still can't figure out how to embed the pics into the thread. I don't mind the lip spoiler which i currently have. Just wish it was more flush against the glass rather then looking like a protruding lip...

I have my pictures hosted on picasa, and I know the link works, just not sure why it isn't working when use the [IMG] [/IMG] syntax
Let me see if this works:
The one on that 7-series looks a lot like the Ebay wing we are putting on our TLs that we are talking about. I'm starting to think this is the way to go if you are going to do a roof spoiler at all.
When I thought of this mod initially, I pictured a roof wing like acurachic has there. I think it works best only if you have a rear wing, not the lip spoiler. Now that I have the low-profile one and have gotten used to it, I like the one I have. The one that is one on acurachic looks a bit like overkill. Maybe it's because I got so used to mine?
