TL pricing in SoCal

Hi, I'm sorry if this is a repost, I did a search and couldn't find anything. I live in SoCal Orange County, CA and will be purchasing a TL in a few weeks time. Can anyone who lives in SoCal tell me how much you pay and where did you buy your TL, so that I know what to expect when I go to the dealer? I'm looking for a 6MT/Nav. It would be nice if you can tell me where you bought it and contact person is. Thanks. This is a great forum and I've been lurking for a couple of months now and finally decided to get the TL.

A few of us have bought at Keyes Acura in Van Nuys..go directly to the sales manager, Dan Carlton Direct Line: 818-782-1120. My pricing would not reflect current conditions as I bought the week following the initial release of the car.

A few weeks ago (late Jan) I got my non-Navi TL at Tustin Acura for $31,995 and got wheel locks, splash guards and a nose mask thrown in. But I'm sure you can get better deals...I didn't shop too much.

dsianand -

It seems that all the navi-s in SoCal are going pretty close to MSRP. You can probably geta few hundred off without too much trouble, but they aren't giving any deep discounts right now.

The really weird thing is that the Navi package does not add much to the residual of the car if you are leasing. At the end of a 36 month lease, a Navi is only worth about $400 more than a non-Navi. This makes almost no sense to me, but that is the way my numbers are coming out. If someone has better info, let me know.

Tustin Acura as of the end of last month was without haggle doing $1000 of non-Navi, $300 off Navi with a waiting list (but they don't take deposits, first come first served when the car arrives). I was able to get some accessories thrown in on top of the $1000 discount.

What are the Money Factor and Residual for these leases? Any other fees?

depends on your credit... the rate and payment is great for anyone over 700 credit score.

no hidden costs or fees.

I wanted Navi, but with the SoCal shortage it turned a $2,000 option into a $3,000 option, plus I couldn't get the color combo without waiting what appeared to be forever. Who would have thought NBP with Parch was so popular.

Assuming excellent credit, what are the money factor and residual for a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles a year?

and your gonna find that acura's lease figures are much more attractive at 48 months rather than 36.. Acura doesnt want you leasing for 36 months.

They used to push 39 months and it was pretty attractive compared to 48. Do they still do 39 month leases?

Keep in mind that the car will most likely be out of warranty before the 48 months are up - if you get/drive 15k miles a year. If you do 12k a year, then you should still be okay.

jimthegreek you buying or leasing???

I'm buying and will be paying cash for it. Don't dealers usually give more discount if you're paying full in cash?
I've also read somewhere in this forum that a few of you guys got like at least 2k off MSRP.

I lease through my personal business....

Dealer will not discount as much on a cash purchase, because they are not making money on the back end.. i.e Financing... The dealer gets a percentage for getting you to sign on the dotted line at a higher apr than what they buy it for. The higher they sale, the higher they make...

I paid MSRP -500 for a car on the lot. (6 miles on it). If I ordered one it would have been MSRP. Weir Canyon Acura in Yorba Linda.

What's so hard to understand?

If you buy a computer today for $2000, what do you think it will be worth in 3 years?
