TL owners with s2000s
As a former S2000 owner, I can say that the S is one amazing car. It's truly fun to drive, has amazing grip and there's nothing like revving the engine to 9000 rpm with the top down. Not a practical car though, very short on space. If you can afford to have both, that's the best of both worlds.
I also run a small S2000 site you can see at http://www.s2kca.com/forums

I'm coming off my 2001 S2000 lease and going into a 2004 TL. I'm curious about the suspension of a 6MT TL compared to the S2000. In the S2000 you feel EVERY bump in the road, every grain of dirt you drive over, etc. I understand the TL 6MT suspension is more stiff than the 5AT, but in comparison to the S2000 is it alot smoother? Of course I did test drive both 6MT and 5AT, but that was several months ago, and I'm actually looking for opinions of people who have driven their TLs for more than just the 10 minute test.
Thanks

I miss my 2002 S2000 (I took a huge loss on the trade); it was an awesome car with great looks. I had to trade due to new baby due this week. The car is a great weekend car. I would have kept it if I had the money for both. The 04 TL (I have one with Navi) is a cruiser, while the S2000 is a speed daemon. They are the best of both worlds. You can have both for the price of a Mercedes E500. Why didn't I think of this analogy to tell the wife last month...grrrrrr. I would have had both of them sitting in the garage today.

I have a 2000 (since October 99).
It's a blast every time I drive it.
My wife has even taken a liking to drving after a few years.
Just started to teach my 16 year old how to drive a standard on it (the start button is quite handy for those stall outs).
The car has been bulletproof and with snow tires does quite well in the winter.
It is small, noisy and the stereo is sad till you upgrade the speakers (which I did).
The biggest problem with having the S2000 is that you will like FWD less after driving the S.
The shifter, handling and windy motor are a real winning combo.
I was going for an all wheel drive G35 (but my wife did not like the car) so the TL did the trick.

I'm a current owner of a 2002 Suzuka Blue S2000 and my girlfriend owns a 2004 TL. I love the S2000, but will be getting the new Evolution MR. The TL is just an awesome car! I love the looks, performance. Awesome car.

I can think of another sporting Honda worthy of being the other half of the "best of both worlds".
my friend has the tsx and the s2000 i think he likes driving the tsx better he says the 2000 hurts his back on long trips, i call him a sissy! i drove his car a couple of times and all i can say is those who do own both are sure lucky...nothing like the top down on a backroad never getting out of third, just screaming around corners, there is one particular road i drive were i see how fast i can get from one point to the next well road is windy and uphill at the end it turns slightly while goin back downhill, it makes your stomach go into your mouth..... my 280z about 75 my jetta about 75 also the tl really did not push about 80 maybe some room to go..the s2000 about 95 to100maybe although when the car started down hill the ass end came way out, i almost lost control, my friend almost shit himself...hah hah..jjay slvsixspd nav 18" rims spoiler 15% tint
