Angry TL color choices

I built couple cars on Acura.com website and I noticed that TL has the least number of available colors. What’s up with that? TSX, RL, MDX, RSX Type-S have more colors. Only NSX and RSX base has the same number of available colors as TL (7 choices). Heck, even Civic and Accord offers more color choices. I do not get it.

There are few light blue and silver colors that are not offered on TL, but offered on TSX and RL that I would like to see on TL. I am not saying I would buy them all, but should'nt we at least have some better color choices? Come on Acura

Have you driven the car? THAT and that alone was the selling point for me; however, the fit and finish on the inside was icing on the cake.

BTW, I prefer a FWD or AWD set-up on a car due to the crazy Midwest weather we have here over the winter months.

Certain colors--like your light blues or bright reds--look wonderful on some cars (TSX) and absolutely horrible on others. I think Honda may have tried the TL in some of these other colors during the planning phase and decided it didn't look appealing.

But, I guess this is subjective, and unfortunately for you and whoever else wants these colors for the TL, Honda has different tastes than you.

i wish the tl came in the metallic midnight blue that 2nd generation tl's and cl' came in . thats the badest color ever made! i wouldve definately got one of them instead of the WDP. the WDP is some badass shit though! that lighter blue on the tsx aint to bad either.

Yeah, but don't you have an extra-large windshield washer fluid reservoir?

I actually thought while deciding on a color, that the Acura TL has the best color selection of any car i've ever looked at.

I had such a hard time deciding between redondo red and silver and white.

I chose silver of course

It's not about quantity of colors, its about quality of colors, and I definitely think that the TL's have some of the best paint colors out there. It's really hard to go wrong with any of the available colors, as they all look very rich, lusterous and distinguished.

ok and NPB. I am kind of bias against that color. I had it on my RSX and Texas heat will make you think twice before buying a black car.

Thats what I was worried about when I got black. In Davis during the summer the temp is usually well above 100 degrees. I hated getting into my car after work...tinting the windows helped the back a tiny bit, but it was still hot as hell. Im glad I didnt get the ebony int.
