TL came back home
I'm happy!I've been without the car since Friday--been using mostly public transportation such as the "Public Limo". Drove my friend's RAV4 which is kinda very slow. But yeah! Just wanted to say that I got the TL back after bringing it to a local garage [who also does painting]. In my opinion they did an excellent job! The paint is noticeable in certain angles though.. but most other angles it blends in quite well---but I'm not entirely sure yet because the car is still filthy dirty [gave it to them dirty and it came back even dirtier lol].
Those of you who are wondering why I brought it in... I had my rear-bumper smashed on my fault... which lead me to buying the Type-S bumper. Now I just need to get the center grill and the exhaust-trim or whatever you want to call it. They also fixed that odd gap my bumper had with the taillight. The taillight seemed to have 'stuck out' while the bumper looked like it was pushed in too far. Now its pretty much flush to my bumper =D
They also did the curtousy of installing my original splash guards. It fits on just like stillhere [I believe] has mentioned when I asked. The only downside is that there is a gap from the bumper and the splash guard.. nothing too big since my splash guards are black while the car is SSM.
Wow I ended up writing more than I thought.. lol. Yeah so they gave me back the old exhaust trim things for the o4 TL--anyone want/need them? One of the clips is broken though. Yours for the taking if you pay for shipping. No pics as of late since digital camera has been lent out.. and DSLR is with a friend.

Washed the car real quick at like 1am. Car is almost 100% clean... and because of that I noticed the color difference. The bumper has like a different hue to it... it's kind of yellowy or greeny-ish in certain lighting conditions. Looking at the TL from directly behind looks normal--until you see the sides. Bugs me a bit knowing the SSM doesn't flow together..
