TIRES Reminder

TIRES Reminder
For all of you having tire issues (either flat spotting, or vibrations in general), this is just a reminder to take 5 minutes out of your busy schedule tomorrow to call Acura to report your issues (if you haven't already).
The number of complaints they document does really seem to matter, and nothing will happen unless we band together and all do this.
Don't forget to list each and every tire issue separately, and be specific.

I just got off the phone with my dealer. They told me the problem is abundant and that the "new" TL's arriving NOW off trucks are coming with a different tire. I'm having mine replaced next Monday "NO CHARGE".

I called and *****ed for a 3rd time after having them balanced again. The service manager said to call the Acura support number. He then called right back and said he just learned he can replace them with Michelin Pilot Sports.
That's it.

I just got off the phone with ACS. They did not even ask for my VIN, Name, Mileage or anything. Once I told him my concern he said they have been "overwhelmed" with complaints and it is in Aura's "line of sight" as their number one priority. He said Acura would make an announcement but he did not know when or what it would be.
I purchased the extended warranty that covers complete tire replacement for the first 36 months; whether factory tires or personal replacements. The ACS rep told me I may get a faster response if I pursue replacement throught the extended warranty. I am calling them right now.........
