Tips to fix body work

I have an 08 TL dark grey metallic color, first ever Acura and just love it, as long as the TL is around I'm buying one. Anyways guys, I need to get estimates from people who have replaced parts on there TL.

I need to replace the front end bumper. Do any of you know where I can get a good price and how much do shops usually charge go install?

Also the other day I was coming home fr work at like 3 am tired, half asleep I ran over a semi blown tire that was laying on freeway, it caused the side bumper on rear left passenger door to pop out quite a ways! It's the outside panel that runs along door but on left rear side!

Any advice on how much to fix both, I would post pictures but don't have a computer and I'm using phone to post this.

Help please

You can buy it at any dealership or from one of our sponsoring dealers that give us great discounts and pricing such as the ones located here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/vendor_directory.php

The bumper is around 200-300 dollars (depending on shipping) and paint should be about the same depending on where you go

As far as the other piece, it's called the Side Skirt and they can be somewhat pricey for what they are, I think 100 dollars or so was what each piece cost (pre-painted from Acura).

I feel your pain! Just went through the same thing, but instead of a semi tire is was a animal.. Cracked my front bumper right under the front lower grill, and it tore off my side skirt.. Im fixing the front bumper myself, but I bought my side skirts off ebay.. they were used and came painted... I had to be patient and waited for the right deal.. luckily I had another car I could drive while fixing it.. the hardware for the side skirt is pretty expensive.. I spent around 100$ just on random mounting hardware...

But you should be able to piece it back together no prob!

Autotradgic, well my car is still driveable, heck it's my only car. I don't mind spending the $ to fix it. Next time I will try to be more careful, but that side skirt incident man, I had barely got off work it was like I said 3 am going 70 down the freeway all tired and half asleep then it that happens. I love my TL man and I'm going to fix it sooner or later.

I feel your pain...

Not sure if the pricing changes for 04-06 bumpers from 07-08 but I just paid 260 shipped and got it from Ack.

Painting it will cost you around 200-300 maybe a little more depending on your area and if theyre blending the bumper to your fenders which id recommend. Otherwise you will most likely have a distinct color variance from your bumper to fenders.

Hope that helps

$350 for my front bumper to get repainted 2 weeks ago. That's strip, sand out chips, paint. All quality work. If it where a new bumper I bet it'd be around $250 or less.
