Tiny Orange Specs on Paint?

I just finished washing my car today. I havent really had a chance to do it since I bought the car because it was winter for a few months and then I didnt have anytime. So today I finally got a close look at the paint and I noticed in several places tiny orange specs that look like rust. Anybody know what this is and why its there? Can I remove it or should I take it to the dealer?

Any info would help. Thx!

I wouldn't mess with it. If it's still under warranty, take it to the dealer. Let them deal with it.

Yes....I see that in my WDP too.....I think you can clay em out...but I dont have any of the clay stuff to try....nor honestly....have I tried it. I would need a quick lesson from Xtin to help me there...she is a clay pro!

But ya....I have seen the same here in my WDP paint.

I see the orange specks in my 05 Navi WDP paint. I am not sure what these tiny specks are and I cannot easily remove them by washing the car.

Us that live in the colder climates don't have the ability to wash our cars hence brake dust build up and salt etc.

These can be easily removed with the clay bar process. I highly recommend doing this to preserve your paint. Those spots will continue to enlarge and get deeper into your paint. Tackle it now and you will be quite amazed at how beautiful your paint will be when done..

Clay bar for sure is the answer.

Follow the process on the directions on the box.

Thanks for all the replies. Guess I'll be clay bar-ing next weekend when I was the car!
