i know this has been discussed before, and I have searched for this, but does anyone in NJ know of any place that installs moleskin? Everywhere I called (Auto Image, Tropic Tints, Auto Image & Security, and a bunch of other places) doesn't install moleskin. The one place that i found, Top of the Line Tints, does do moleskin and offers lifetime warranty, but is asking $285(tints) + $40(moleskin) + tax.

 

Where do you live? My boy works at a spot called Mirage Autosports in N. Plainfield.

 

i live in Somerset, NJ (right by Rutgers U). Willing to drive an hour away if the price is right.

 

I thought any aftermarket tint on the front drivers and passengerside windows are illegal in NJ (but ok in the back as I understand it).

 

They are illegal to have in the front..But if you have like a 35% tint, cops won't bother you...

i was gonna go to this place in amboy...$150 for all around, they did a few of my friends cars and came out pretty good

I have no moleskins and all my tint is getting scratched..

On a similar note, does anyone in NJ carry tints like HuperOptik and similar high end tints? I can't seem to find any shop in NJ/NYC area..

 

nah, i haven't gotten it done. I was considering getting it done at Auto Image in Edison, b/c they said they'd warrant the tints for i think 5 years? but i didn't want to have to keep going in there to get it restripped, then retinted. I might just wait to see if other places have moleskin, b/c everywhere I've called either don't do the moleskin install, or don't know what it is.
