Thinking of getting windows tinted on new TL with Navi. Is anyone having trouble with navigation after the window tint. Also, what kind of tint did you get or does anyone recommand. I use to have 3M on my last car and it's not holding up too well. Thanks.

The 3G TL FAQ is a great place to sart looking for info. I would also use the "SEARCH" feature to find info on topics. That aside, this has been a much debated topic. Several members have had problems while others have not encountered any. Manufacturer recommends the use of non-metallic film to prevent interference of GPS signals. Your choice. As far as film, there are 2 ceramic films which are used by the members - Formula 1 Pinnacle Series and Huper Optik. Another option is the 3M CS series film and more info can be found here. The other type films are metallic and dyed from manufacturers such as Solargard, Llumar, Madico and F1. I can't tell you much more, how dark and what you decide to use is a personal choice. As mentioned before, do a search on tint and see what others have used and go from there. Good Luck!
