I recently had my windows tinted and installed the Moleskin myself last week. Very simple to do. The door panels were easy to remove. I do not have any instructions on how to install the moleskin but I did a search and numerous how to threads came up which were very helpful.

Don't know if your gonna do this yourself but it you are getting a shop to do it I'd shop around until you find a shop that tells YOU that you need it. That's what I did. I found a few good tint shops in my area and called each of them. The one I went with told me that I needed felt, what it was, why I needed it on the TL and said they would still guarantee the job for life even if the tint does get scratched. They also asked me if I have nav and once I said yes they went on to tell me about ceramic tint. Just what I wanted to hear

Overall, if you're going to a shop find one that has done TL's knows the issues, and how to fix them. Your effort will be worth it. If you're tinting the TL yourself best of luck - you da man

god no , im no tint artist leave it for the pros! reason im askin is that most shops want 180.00!! but i have a good tinting friend that did my 03 perfectly, and i was going to get him the moleskin, cover the tracks or whatever, andhave him tint the car... for 80.00 =)

Please don't take this the wrong way but sometimes ya get what ya pay for. I found guys who would tint my car for less $$$ but they didn't have the knowledge of the TL or it's special requirements that the shop I went with did. The way I looked at it I wanted it done once and done right and I didn't wanna have to be running back all the time to get tint replaced due to scratching etc. I don't have time for stuff like that and can't be bothered with the hastle. That's why I spend the extra $$$ and got it done where I did . That said, if your bud can hook ya up and do a great job then go for it. Just tell the wife it still cost ya $180 and pocket the rest for more mods .
