I agree with K-Shawn... Lorenzo Tint is one of the best... He tinted my 3G TL and I get nothing but compliments.... I highly recommend Lorenzo... Remember he tints nothing but "Money Cars" in shop all year round....

$350 is a whoooole lot, but i heard that they do a really good job.

^ It's about QUALITY. You can go to a place that cost $90 for everything and after 6 months to a year, your tint starts to fade. You develop bubbles and etc., if you go to these guys. It's a one time visit and life time guarantee of your tint. My lady's had her tint since 2000 and still dark and clean as it was when first visited.

If you want Quality, go to them, if you want cheap, go else where.

Remember... if you have any problems with your tinting from Lorenzo (which you shouldn't) he'll fix the problem and give you a complimentary Complete Car Detail for your troubles...

Its not always about Quality some people charge double or triple because they can. Most shops give you lifetime warranty. If your tints do bubble up they will take care of it.

Now Lorenzo does a complimentary detailing when he tints or installs a clear bra, inside & outside detailing.

I was going to get the clear bra done the first week I got the TL but when I called to make the appointment... I already had rock chips on the front bumber... damn that Cross Bronx Expy...

i know a place in or near piscataway, NJ. my bro-in-law gets his tints done there all the time. he's been going there for a couple years now, probably had over 7 cars done there. the most recent were his benz, which he got done twice, b/c he took it off the first time for inspection and someone broke his back window, he got my sister's 06 TL there too. he's done his other cars there too, accord, camry, civic, and whatever else he had before i knew him. they charge $150 (i dont if thats special pricing for him, or not, but it shouldn't matter) i'll try to find out more details like what kind of tint, moleskin or not, warranty,etc.

so far my sister says she hasn't had any problems with the navi, but i'll probably verify and make sure before i get tints.



oh, as for a tint ticket. usually you dont have a problem with cops, but i did actually get a ticket for JUST tints. it was on the NJ turnpike, and i was in my fathers cadillac sts (the car is all black with chrome wheels and dark tints, so it stands out) and the cop was following me for a bit, but i kept it slow and steady so when he pulled me over all he has on me was the tints.....which was total BULLSHIT.

but a stock TL with tints shouldn't stand out as much and if you keep it around 35% it should be fine...at least i hope.
