2007 TLS

just got my carbon bronze type s. What color tint do you guys think will look good. I am thinking a nice titanium tint may look good. Open to suggestions.

20% black all the way around. there is a thread with a carbon bronze with tint. i just cant find it... i think its in the phot threads

I have the Carbon Bronze TLS also, I think the rims look awesome with this color.

2007 TLS

since you have the same color car, in your opinion what color tint would you get, i'm thinking either going with 5% black or maybe like a titanium tint that has a mirrorish effect. I'm open to other suggestions. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks

5% black? Sounds like your saying "Limo Tint" in which case you are simply throwing away a $200 tint job the first time you get pulled as 5% is OBVIOUSLY in violation of code. Save yourself the headache and money. Go 20% (if you HAVE too). At 20% they "may" let you slide. @ 5%, FURGETABOUTIT!

Just a word of caution, FWIW.

Metallic-based tints can reduce your NAV reception whose antenna is located in the center, underside of the rear shelf. Acura recommends to stay clear of it.

I unfortunately have little imagination, but I believe that a non-mirror tint would mesh better with the darker colors of the vehicle. I have never liked tint that was too dark, it makes it too hard for me to see well at night.

Hey Polk. I just got my 2007 type s and I am worried about the tint scratching again like my 2004 did. Keep all of us updated if this happens. It's an easy fix by putting felt (mole skin) in the door but I swear my car had more road noise after that application so I would like to avoid it if possible.
