you should verify what exactly is included with this special.

it does sound like a good deal though.

I've heard horror stories about Paragon Acura from other members of this forum over the years. Not sure how Paragon Honda is.

You are in NYC. Why don't you go to the one in NJ where all New Englanders go to..

Hamilton Honda

Call them and ask about the special TB deal

TB $389
Valve adjusting $290
Tensioner $75

^Prices I paid

655 US Highway 130 Hamilton, New Jersey 08691
(609) 528-2086

I'd rather pay 1k to have my timing belt done than to spend "295 " at paragon acura or Honda.

my biggest peeve with them is when I purchased my TL used, they tried adding a whole bunch of other crap I didn't want and they never mentioned it. Thinking I would go ahead and sign the paper work without reading.

Also, both driver and passenger door windows where broken and was replaced but, they never bothered to vaccum out the broken glass from under the seats. I just so happened to find it when I vaccumed the car and cut up my fingers.

that's just one of many. Don't let me get started with my sisters TSX she purchased new from them.

please go elsewhere.

Not a bad deal.

I did mine at Hamilton Honda and can definitely vouch for them.

Also, read the fine print on the Paragon flyer. This does not include replacing the drive belt or water pump. All it includes is inspection of the drive belt and water pump as well as replacing the timing belt.

Hamilton's deal was $389 and it included replacing the belts and water pump.

Maybe the bad rap on Paragon is why this deal is so inexpensive.

Holiday, what did the Service Writer say to you-you said he was copping an attitude.

+ the Coolant

And I am guessing that new price $549 still has the belt, coolant and the water pump

Anyone ever heard of a deal like this going on on the westcoast? Seems like all of them are on the east.

I had a very bad buying experience at Paragon when I wanted to purchase my TL. They tried to pull all kinds of bait and switch, telling me my car wasn't available but another car came in for me instead which of course was more expensive. This happened a few times, and when my car finally came in they wouldn't honor the trade-in quote on my old car - which I had in writing - because I had put more miles on it while I was waiting for my TL. I got my deposit back and purchased at Rallye instead.

Note on BBB.org they state Paragon Acura is not BBB Accredited. Also Google review of Paragon on RipOff Report.

My advice is to stay away!

Stay away from Paragon Honda. You have been warned. My cousin been there 3 times and each time he finds a new scratch on his car. They have such crappy customer service and they do not give a fuck. Stay away!

Anyone had a good experience at Paragon should post. This is a pretty decent deal for some of the NY guys so if we have positive feedback it will be helpful. I plan on doing my second timing belt service the end of next year. I'm pretty sure I will use Hamilton again.

There is a special this month at Hamilton.

The Honda is the $389. Acura is $489.98 but it does depend on make/model. Mine is an 05 TL. Costs more due to add time required compared to Honda.

Nope. It cost more because so many TL owners went there. They realized they could charge more and still get people to pay. I got mine done there last year and it was $389.

Avoid Paragon like the plague. they've been in the news with horror stories of their unlicensed "kids" taking customer cars for joy rides and getting into accidents. personally, I had my car there for service and had serious issues with them. the best I can say about them...... is they're thieves, liars, most horrific people to deal with. not a bit of honesty. thats for their service dept. sales is just as bad.
