time to say goodbye
time to say goodbye
Hello All,
First of all, I want to say thank you so much to many of you that have helped me throughout the last 16 years. I have learned so much from you all. This is probably why my 2006 Acura TL still runs. Unforntely the time has come to move on, as my 4 children are growing and we'll need a 2nd 3 row SUV. I also don't have the garage space to keep it. I am writing here first because I wanted to get the input of the community before I create the Sale post.
Would love to hear what you guys think the appropriate ask price should. Here is all the info I can think of, good and bad.
Here is all that I have done to it.
2006 Acura TL. 240,160 miles. I bought it as 2nd owner from a lease, @ 32,791 miles in 2010. It was not garaged until 2016, but has been since in the Boston area. No accidents.
Oil changes done at Acura Dealer or Hondaa King in Cambridge including both Timing Belts at 120k and @226,615 which was back in 2017. I have only done 13k since 2017 due to job change.
Here are all the mods.
Following done by XLR8 in CT back in the day.
XLR8 Engine Mounts 62A
XLR8 Engine Torque Damper
XLR8 J-Pipe v2
Done by myself
AEM CAI V2
P2R TBS
UR Underdrive Pulley
StopTech SportStop Rotors - Drilled & Slotted /w Street Perf Pads
XLR8 Quad Exhaust
A-SPEC
RDX 19" Accessory Wheels/Yokohama S.Drive 245/35/19
UniqueStyleRacing Pedals
Interior & plate LED's
I use the 19" rims in spring/fall and the stock 17" rims with winter tires for the winter. Very minor rust by rear wheel, but I plan on documenting and posting pictures throughly. Unfortunelety, I left it outside a few weeks ago, while it was 95F and the driver dashboard split finally caught me. Besides that, there seems to be an issue with either a mounts or torque damper. I have not had time to check and figure out the issue. I did replace rear e-brake kit, but did not use Honda parts for the first time. It worked for a year but stopped recently, I have not had time to go back and fix.
Other than that, battery is not even a year old. It does drive well besides issues mentiond above. Still on original clutch with no issues. Here is a link to a bunch of pictures. Will add more this week.

Thank you for everything and let me know what you guys think,
