The thread without complaints

I drove my TL today. As I got into the car, I noted a distinct dearth of posterior impressions in the leather seats. The seat heaters warmed me up quickly and comfortably. The car was quiet, luxurious, and quick.

No rattles or vibrations or shimmies were to be heard or felt. Gosh, my Michelin Pilot Sport All-Seasons are wonderful tires.

The audio system was able to play Blue Man Group at high volume without distortion. My children in the back seat said it sounds great back there, and were amazed that even with the music so loud, the rear shelf is put together well enough that there are no rattles.

Small rocks kicked up by my tires hit the felt inside the wheel wells, but I couldn't hear them.

I was able to get everything I wanted into my trunk, which opens a very convenient 6 inches or so. If there was an unsightly weld, I didn't see it.

When I got home, I opened up my diary and with my Acura pen wrote an ode to my car.

Mike

Ahhh yes. The pleasures of the 04TL. Mine doesn't creak or squeak, it doesn't make strange noises in the night. 2 weeks ago the temperature was -44C. She purred to life and had no problems gripping the snow as we went for an evening outing. No rattles and no vibrations. I have the winter tire package option - Blizzak's and they are doing a fine job in conjuntion with all that the car does with it's traction control and other goodies. I must say I am looking forward to the snow going away and getting the high performance summer tires put back on - can't wait to try them out!

I love watching heads turn as I drive by or pull up next to people at stop lights. Friends are love hopping in my car and going cruising - they love it more when I let them drive. Just a couple of days ago, my windshield washer low indicator came to life on the little computer screen. Filled it up and off I went.

I bought my SSM 6MT Dynamic Package at the end of October and 1 week later I left for vacation. The car was parked in the garage until I returned home the beginning of January. I couldn't wait to get her out on the road even though they were covered in snow. And what a pleasure she is giving me! Gee - I think I need to go out for a ride now.

Cheers all!
Charles

The only thing I don't like about my TL is getting out of it.

How did you know they hit the felt inside the wheel well then?

Ahh, which brings to mind the proverbial question:

"If a rock hits your felt and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound?"

You know, I never understood the point of that proverbial question. Why does it matter whether the tree that fell made a sound or not?

And then ....

There was thunder and lightning as the sky shook, and the heavens declared - THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER CAR AS PERFECT AS THE 2004 ACURA TL.

Well done! Why, it even sounds like you folks actually drive TL's and aren't 16 year old wanna be's with lousy vocabularies and even worse spelling skills! And, I'll bet you haven't even "killed" or "raped" anybody.

Does the phrase, "Grow up" come to mind when you read about half these posts?

In the afternoon of the seventh day, the lord uttered, Let there be an Acura TL, and the lord saw that it was good an gave it to Adam so he could conduct his business in comfort in the shortest amount of time. And Adam drove the TL and saw that it was good. So, he loaned it to Eve who smashed it against the tree of knowledge and everything has been f*cked up since then!
