For those of you that have Momo shift knobs

How do you keep it secure? Mine seems to keep loosening up.

Also, I lost 2/3 long screws that it came with. Anyone know where I can get some spares?

They look like this

^^ Werd the loctite will do miracles.

In regards to getting replacement screws

Take the one that you have to lowes hardware section, they will have a board to determine the thread size. Once you have that go to this link, to purchase set screws (which are allen head). http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRAR2?...65701&PMAVID=3

I have purchased from them before, and they are good.

Edit: StevenBell has a momo shift knob, you could PM him. but his is for an Auto, not sure what yours is for. Based on the screws, I am assuming a stick IDK though

^ 5AT. I'll do just that. Thanks! I think I'll need some longer ones and some loctite.

Hi Guys,

I hope help and shed some light here for you. Yes, my car is an automatic transmission. Those screws are a pain in the neck for sure. I had one fall out and nearly lost it when I was installing the shift knob. The key is to get the knob centered on the stick...then evenly and equally screwing those 3 screws into the shift knob.

If you can get 2 more of those little screws...get a couple extras-just in case. See if they have longer ones too..that will help when you go to screw them onto the stick. You might even take the collar of the shift knob with you just to insure they screw into the collar.

what i did was go to home depot and puchase three of those a little longer. I marked with a sharpie the position i wanted the shift knob in. i then drilled a small hole so that when i screwed in the set screw, the point went into the small hole. No problems since.

Bought these at Home Depot. They work great... Just an FYI for anyone who needs spare screws

It was like $0.50 for 2.
