For those who installed the OEM body kit themselves

How long did it take you? How would you rate the difficulty of the job?

maybe a 3 as well, took a little over 2.5 hours just because you want to go slow.

The only thing that slowed me down was having not done it before. I also took a lunch break in the middle for that 2.5 hour time.
The sides took literally 10 minutes a side tops. Front was no biggie, just double check the templates. The rear takes more time because you have to remove the entire bumper.

I bet if I did it again I could do it in sub 1 hour.

took me about 5.5 hours, that is for front, rear, sides, and rear wing spoiler. My father works in Autobody, he helped me, and we did extra work to make a better job of it than what doing just what the instructions said. For example, looking at the body kit at the dealerships, i noticed it separating from the body of the car, and peeling away, this looks real tacky and my father sees it alot in cars that come through his work. One thing we did was we used alot of adhesive promoter, and used extra tape. I strongly recommend doing something like this because i think it looks like crap when it starts coming off the car. But beware adhesive promoter can affect your paint, so when we did it we put the body kit on temporarily, made some marks with a highlighter where the body kit goes on the body/bumpers. Then we just put adhesive promoter below this mark because you will not be able to see it. Make sure you have cleaned it thoroughly before doing this, light thinners works too. Once you have applied adhesive promoter and any extra tape to the body kit, move quickly because the adhesive promoter can set quickly. Thats my advice. I get compliments all the time on how good it looks, it helps to have a perfectionist father who has been in auto body for 40 years.

ok I just opened my bodykit box and discovered that there are no directions inside it. Does anyone have their directions? If so can they be emailed to me or faxed?

Well guys, it is done. The body kit took me 4 hours total. The spoiler took about 1.5 hours. Both of these could have been done faster but I measured things over 5 times each LOL. I just wanted to make sure it didn't look like I did it myself.

installed the front and rear in about 3 hrs or so...didnt put on the side skirts because they came in scratched....when i got the sides...it was like a 30-45 minute job...had a hard time getting the screws off in the rear because i didnt take off the rim and had to use a pocket knifes screwdriver ( small enough to fit between the wheel well and the 19" rims clearance )

the rear was the hardest part of the installation i believe and i drilled an extra hole in which i have no idea what its for.

front and sides were a piece of cake...
