Damn Tony! That's why Stella stays away from places like SE and PG!! That's fucked up, but not abnormal. You gotta be more careful man! Sorry to hear that.

Hey bro, maybe wrong time, but can I see a pic of those cold cathodes on over the center console? That looks like it might be overkill, but it also looks like it might be cool!

Note to self: Hide my fucking wheel locks...I keep forgetting to do that!

WTF? I never understood this... The bricks under the brake discs... How the hell do you pull wheels off and have the disc fall perfectly on the brick?

I understand the whole let the air out thing, but there isn't any air between the bricks and the brake discs to let out?

Why smash a window, pull the wheels and then "be kind enough" to set the discs ontop of bricks???

Don't make sense...

Anyone?

They jack up the car, take the rims, and they need to somehow retreive their jacks. The only way to do this is to lay something that is high enough in order to pull the jacks out.

Damn, just the idea of someone riding around in a G35 stealing rims and tires is fucked up! Throwing shit that large in a car that small means that you are pressed and stupid! Not an easy car to "arrange" the jack move. Good getaway car, but dumb hauler, and easy to spot by the cops at that time of the morning!

That really sucks big time. I suppose the one decent thing is at least they didn't just let you car down on the pavement.. they used bricks. Still they thought of someone messing with your car is really the shits.

This may not make you feel any better but check this out. Maryland is number 4 on the list of states with the highest crime rate.. Virginia is number 38. In Maryland, you can't carry guns.. in Virginia, you can. Something to think about when it comes time to vote.

So they are bringing jacks and bricks to a wheel party? These are some nice fellas you guys got down there in MD.

Around here, they don't even bring four cinder blocks... Instead they break two of them apart and "wedge" the half blocks under the car. Two guys usually, one guy pulls up on like a fender to make sure the blocks get under something solid.

Then they pull the valve stem cores and unbolt the lugs, no jacks needed.

The only time this happened to me was on a friends vehicle that I had just finished painting.. I parked it out-side the shop and I came in the next morning to find it completely on the ground... Like you mentioned, no jacks involved. They had used an 8 ft 4x4 to lift up a corner at a time. Ironically the 4x4 came from our own dumpster.

I was just extremely thankful that believe it or not they didn't place a scratch on the paint other than the uni-body seam underneath etc.. Our dealership insurance was covering the mess yet that Friday one of the stupid perpetrators actually went in to have the wheels/tires balanced at a local shop. Not something you do in a small town. I had the rims back in my hands the following Monday and three idiots were off the streets for quite some time..

Anyway, sorry to ramble in your thread Tonyph33r - hope your car is back rolling on the new rims in no-time!!

first off, that really sucks, buddy
second, I never really understood the concept of not stealing the entire car. While i'm glad that didn't happen in this instance, wouldn't it make more sense for the stealer to steal the car(takes less time, right?) and then remove the wheels carefully, put on some $30 steels, and sell the entire thing?

It doesn't sound like the people that did this, have the knowledge to steal the entire car, ya know? Sure, we hear about people's TL's getting stolen, but if you're going out in a G35 to steal rims (not the most practical means of doing it), you're probably not a 'professional' ...my

It's like all the other low life's in the world and the activities they perform to get money/respect/status:

They have no desire to actually "work or gain the prerequisites" to obtain a legal income,,, rather they just steal, cheat, scam or worse yet drug traffic and murder for what they feel should be "given" to them...

I have great compassion for the less fortunate of the world that at least make an effort to make an honest living and better their shortfalls. The others/above need to be banished to an island where they can live and die among themselves and their ways..... Swimming lessons not allowed.

Hey there Smitty;

Political Correctness is for the dimwitted. I don't like or wish to consider myself part of that mix.

As for low-lifes, whenever one meets the business end of a weapon, or gets beat to a pulp, or loses his life for doing something really stupid, the way I look at it is quite simple. One less maggot plus, the human race is not going extinct so it's not like we need him.

Tis really a shame we have let society get to this point. But speaking of the phrase/ideology "politically correct", I agree with you and also feel its the strong feeling PC's of the world that have made it this way... Heaven knows it will get much worse before it gets better. I only wish my kids could have the safe childhood/growth/community that I had.

Once again, sorry for breaking topic/rambling Tonyph33r

Take care Mr. SouthernBoy

Yes it does. In fact a large part of the Potomac river is mostly Maryland's.

Still it really is a shame that this happened to a fellow member.. or anyone for that matter. Property is sacrosanct here in America and messing with or destroying someone's property.. well, in my opinion whatever ill may befall a BG is the result of his doing.
