Are these Philips bulbs Legit?

I found these Philip HID bulbs on ebay. Are these Philips bulbs real? Does anyone buy these before and have installed them on their cars? If so, please provide some pictures. Thank you.

Saw those same ones on eBay too. You do know those aren't the same ones as OEM right? OEM is 4300k.

you can get Kaixen brand from our vendor Excelerate for less than that
4300k was stock
many go to 5000k for more blue that picks up the reflecto paint in lines and roadsigns

if you want a brighter white then go with a 6000k bulb. I just wasnt willing to give up any lumens with a higher kelvin bulb...

actually you lose white with 6000- I have them and know there is less white light on the road surface in front of the car, but I can see lines and other things the 4300 dont pick up
4300 or 5000 are excellent choices
Next step down is 3000 and thats too yellow and its used for fog lights

Does any one have pictures of their headlights with the Philips bulbs? Either 4300k or 5000k? But has anyone bought and installed the Philips bulbs I found on ebay?

the color is going to be the same regardless of maker- the number indicates the color on the Kelvin scale, with 6500 being compared to midday sun
Its about the eyes ability to seperate objects in contrast

Are they offering any warranty?- the price at 120? a pair is in the reasonable range
and I remind you that many ziners are happy with the Kaixens- they are the international lighting research facility and the bulbs come from the manufactuing dept
They make and test a lot of bulbs~

I was thinking of getting Kaixens, but I heard they don't last that long, hope I don't offend anyone. If anyone have 5000k Kaixen bulbs how much lumens will I lose? Also can someone please post some pics of their Kaixen 5000k. Thanks for the details 01tl4tl.

look in the gen2 threads- lots of guys with them and plenty of pics- do a search

About 2 years on my kaixens and the lights on are most of the time for safety
Life is supposed to be 3000 hours- the stock ones 2500, and both will lose color and brightness with age- its normal
The few lumens differance is not something your eyes will detect between brands ands color

phillips is a well known brand used in many OE applications, maybe even some acuras or honda

ask each seller what warranty there is

Bulb life can be dramatically reduced by touching the glass bulb with your bare fingers- oil creates a hot spot that burns into the glass causing failure
Wear latex or rubber gloves when handling bulb

you can go to Lowes, in the florescent tube section there are big pics of different light colors from 3000 to 6500
All taken of the same room so you can check the differance in kelvin

switch color? do you mean ~burns in~ with about 50 hours to its normal color and brightness-
than at lifes end it will do the pink or purple thing when you turn them on?
yes they do that like all HID bulbs do- they age and get weaker and change color at the end
Supposed to last 3000 hours of use
