Hey guys, I was wondering if there were any recalls on our Acura's? I

was told that there was going to be a recall on our stretching leather seats and

that there was some sort of transmission trouble that was recalled. But it could

all be just a rumor. Is any of this true??

04 tls might hav recalls;
1) some people complained to dealers and got new 05 seats becuz of 'butt prints' aka 'stretched leather'
2) also, ive heard in this forum that for 6speeds, the 2nd gear is 'faulty' but all i no is the butt prints....
dont no if this counts.....
3) if u hav the motorola v710, there is a recall for the camera and needs updated software.

The only official recall was on the 5AT 2004 up to some VIN in the 14ks. You should clearly be OK.

They won't recall unless it is a major mechanical or safety issue. Issues like butt prints may be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Cool screen name. LOL. Thought I would pass on a site that was passed on to me. You can check on TSBs and recalls, as well as any safety issues or investigations. Hope this helps. Happy New Year

You can use the "TL owner" site to check on any recalls for your particular vehicle. Go to Acura.com, click on "owners", then click on "go to owners." You set up your own mini-site with your VIN, radio code, etc. It has a link to check on any recalls issued for your VIN #.
