test drove and 06 today

so i took a test drive for a 06 tl w/o nav and had a few questions...

1. the rotors had a lot of rust on the(probably from it sitting in the rain at the dealership). Could i take it to a dealership and they would get rid of that rust?

2. Do the rear seats fold down? i mountain bike so this would be helpful

3. i didn't get the chance to listen to the radio but how is the stock sound system compared to other cars in it's class?

4. Lastly, are all of the rear view mirrors auto-dimming?

and BTW, if you havn't figured out. i'm not buying this car from an acura dealer and the sales guy had no knowledge of the car what-so-ever. otherwise i would've had these questions answered.

5. The center counsel had a carbon fiber looking trim. was this stock with black interiors or was this an aftermaket piece put on by the previous owner?

1. The dealership won't do anything for the rotors if the car is out of warranty. The rust will go away after the brakes have been used.

2. No.

3. Not bad for an OEM system. Make sure you purchase DVD-A's to maximize the ELS system.

4. Yes.

5. Depends on what you mean by carbon fiber. It'd be easier to answer your question if you posted pics, but, yes, these did come with the carbon fiber trim.

The interior mirror is auto-dimming, but the exterior mirrors do not dim.

I ride and race a lot. I have a Hidden Hitch and a plug in rack for my TL. It is an easy install.

Acura did sell extra CF pieces that goes around the seat heater switches, and the cup holders. there is also a piece that can be seen from the back seat on the end of the center console. if all the CF in the car matches, then it was probably OEM.

and yes, the fake CF was stock on some interior colors. the others had a fake yellow/orange wood trim
