Taking the TL off road?

The 2004 TL is a street vechicle, made and tuned for high-performance street use. As compared to a vechile like a Volvo where you can tow trailers, drive excessivly in snow and venture off unpaved streets. My question is this; can you take the TL on dirt roads, not anything like potholes or bolders, mainly just an unpaved roads, is it durable enough? (let the flames begin)...

oh yeah the EL42's are terriffic in off road use. Not! I bent my rim on a pothole cause the EL42 didnt cushin it enough and it was at 35psi. Dont trust it on off roads. I would never take a chance it cant grip good on light snow and would never do well on mud.

Don't fear the routine graveled or dirt (dry) roads. Just slow down and be sensible.

Be wary of ruts, with the low ground clearance we have in our TL's.

Make it earn its living. As long as ground clearance isn't a problem and you drive sensibly, it shouldn't be a problem.
