break-in for the TL per the manual is 600 miles...being careful never hurts though...I'm just at 900 and I haven't pushed it too much just yet

Yeah, there's a whole thread about the "break-in". There's mixed opinions about it, but I smoked down the highway to my friend's house to show it off as soon as got it. Everything's still okay.

$35K car (+-). How important is that to you? For me, I'll err on the side of caution and take it easy for the first 1000 miles.
