Sunday Production?

I was told that the build date for my '05 TL is 9/19 which I find surprising since that is a Sunday. Anyone else have a build date that fell on a Sunday?

Less than 1 month to go!

Sunday build dates are good for you because you get your car sooner, and good for the auto workers too because they probably get 1.5X or 2.0X for working on Sunday. The demand for the 3G must still be strong to justify paying overtime for Sunday production.

Or that just signifies the "week of production".

I was told by my dealer that the build date for my 04 TL would be on 09/17. They must anticipate a smooth transition at the change of the model year.

I have a build date on my '05 of 9/20.

I guess its being built in marrysville ohio? it has to get up to west side of cleveland.

How long should that take? Does it build in one day? How long to deliver the thing? A week or is it longer than that....?

Thanks

Both my ordered TL's have a build date range of 9/15 to 9/19 (this week)

Here's the kicker, though:
The dealer has a 2004 coming in with a built date of 9/10-9/14, followed by a 2005 in the very next few days. Go figure!

BTW, any ideas as to how long after can one expect the delivery date? Week or two, more?

Hellll Nooooooooooo!! If I knew build date was on a Sunday, I'd cancel the order. I Don't want some hungover drunk on the bottom of the seniority list stumbling in on Sunday morning and working on my car! I'll definitely take a pass on the lush special. The worker would be sweating out that nasty alcohol puke smell that might absorb into my leather.
