Got nothing against M owners.

Trolling is just doing something to piss someone else off in good fun..for the one who commits the troll. Sometimes it's funny getting a rise out of someone, especially one that takes cars so seriously.

Just like trolling kiddie gamers on BF3 with your mic or typing lots of crap, or like the M3 with LOL VTEC as his lic plate. It's just a troll/joke. I laughed when I saw that plate, and if you're offended by something like that then you're taking things too seriously.

Which is more than likely at least one of the cars posted in this thread. That insight with the M sticker being one.

edit: and upon closer inspection, the insight picture is fake. reflection of the M doesnt even match the insight badge right under it.

Oh good grief! You didn't offend me, but do you understand why an M3 owner might have that L-plate and why you're suggested retort doesn't make as much sense?

I'm pretty sure he's saying "LOL VTEC" is probably meant to mock Honda/Acura owners who think VTEC means their tires will set fire to the road, instead of suggesting their M car contains Honda tech.

is this not the purpose of a troll? to throw out a totally misguided response to elicit a rise? I think what I'm saying worked already.

OK, ez12a-knock it off. You're not contributing anything positive here. And it's getting this way off topic.

That's 'cause I couldn't find my BMW badges to put on it.

I'm sure those will look fine on the Neon SRT4 I'm building.

To really be in style, you'll need to put "Dart" badging on it.

But, it doesn't look like either a TypeS or an Aspec, right? Both of those kinds of TLs have distinctive visual clues that your car lacks, correct?

Look people have all types of opinions about modding cars. My opinion, and you (and others) are welcome to disagree, is that putting factory badges on a car when that badge doesn't belong there isn't a good mod. It just looks like someone is trying to fake it instead of getting the real thing.

When I had my TL, I didn't put a "Type-S" badge on it because it was never going to be a Type-S; especially, because it was never going to have a Type-S engine in it (which is the most important aspect of the Type-S). I put the A-Spec badge on my car only after I'd installed the A-Spec suspension since this was the most important performance part of the A-Spec package. But, hey, maybe that's just me.

I think the idea of "badging" out a car is pretty dumb anyways.

The only time I get bothered by seeing another TL is when it's clean as f***, and then i'm like ......(damn)

or when I see a complete chode behind the wheel of a beat up, neglected, dirty but still perfectly loyal TL.

and then i'm like ......(sigh).

I really like the Ferrari F40 but only had a Fiat so I made it look like one.

One day I'll have a F40 but this will do for now.

UUUGGGGHHHHH! /rant
When I had my Taurus SHO, I wanted to get rid of any indication body wise that it was a SHO....then when I had my Pontiac GTP...first thing I did was remove the GTP badging....I even remove the dealer information

Last thing I wanna do is advertise what level trim my car might be....if possible I would even remove the car make....doesn't make the car any faster having it or not having...but it'll definitely make people think.
