I don't know Steve since I just started my account last year. I simply follow all the threads to feed myself as much info as I can.
Now I arrive at this thread. I'm so sorry to see this. May God give peace & comfort to his family and friends. :RIP: Steve

Scott,
Although I did not know Steve, I know exacactly what you are going through and I am so sorry for you and your family. I lost my little brother (29 yrs old) on Jan 31. No one can understand unless they are in your shoes. It is a process that can only be helped by your faith. I will tell you that some days will be good and some not so good. Do not be afraid to let it out. Let friends and family help as much as possible.
Try to think of the good times and the laughs you had. I am not sure how old you are, but please remember, you had those years to love him, laugh with him, cry with him and grow with him. Being sad is ok, but remember, Steve wouldn't want you to give up or to continue feeling this way. So, you have to keep your head up, keep moving and stay busy. It will take time. Take it minute by minute.
If you want to pm me, please feel free!
Allan

Very sad to hear about this! As darksom pointed out he was part of our grille crew. Acurazine definitely benefitted with his presence and he will be missed. If he is missed here I can only imagine the impact he made outside of acurazine out in real life. May God comfort his family and friends, rest in peace friend!

It is only when something this tragic happens that all the rest of what we do seems so trivial and put in to perspective. We all have the same bond here that Steve had, a love for our cars, and even more, a respect for one another.
Steve, I was not fortunate enough to have known you, but my thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I'm sorry to hear for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I'm can totally relate to the situation, because my younger brother passed away unexpectedly in October. He was 23 and his name was Steve too (strange). He didn't have an acura, but he loved mine.

wow, a son your family has my deepest condolences. Try to celebrate his life and all that he's done/accomplished. He would want that. Make his funeral a tribute to his life, not a despairing, depressing affair. Always think about what he would have wanted.

Its always so sad to hear things like this. A fellow forum member on supraforums.com had his also short life cut down by a jerk running from the police. Apparently many people knew him, and he was a good guy. Many forum members chipped in, in a variety of ways, and sent cards, flowers, and donations. I would be more than willing to do the same, and I would hope others as well if they happen to know how to set something like this up, please let me know!
Im sorry to sidetrack, i feel horrible when i read threads like this, my most sincere condolences to his family,
Mark

My condolences. Hopefully he was just as smart as he was a good guy and took the proper measure/responsibility to ensure his family was protected should something happen to him and that his estate that's he's probably worked real hard for isn't eventually eaten up by the taxman.

I agree with others, as we all shared a similar bond... only here can people of all different ages, interests and backgrounds share their love for their car and share knowledge, ideas and opinions. Even though, 99% probably never met him in person, it still hits close to home to hear such a tragic loss.....
I am sure he is happy, knowing that this thread was created in his honor.... If it wasnt for his brother, we may have never known and always wondering what happened to him
RIP

I never knew him, but my condolences go out to his family. It's a shame at such a young age with young children. However on a positive note, trying to make good out of bad, look at all the support from a forum! It's great to have a family like this!

When I had seen the title of this thread, I did not know who he was until I saw his avatar. Although I may not have known him just like some of the others, it's always sad to hear of a fellow enthusiast passing away at such a young age. My condolences to you and your family, Scott. May your brother .

Scott, my prayers go out to you and your family. May Steve rest peacefully in heaven.
I kind of feel like I lost a "cousin" ... on his avatar he states:
He will be missed dearly. God bless.

As Tupac said on his track, "God Bless the Dead,"
"Cry later, but for now, let's enjoy the laughter"
Remember him by his good deeds, and never forget who he was.
I hope you guys can get the energy to talk about all the good times you had with him.
RIP Steve and my prayers go to you, Scott, and your family.

My prayers are with you and your family
Psalm 23: 1-4,6
The lord is my shepard, I shall not be in want
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul. He guides me in path of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk in the shadows of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me; you rod and staff, they comfort me
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever
