Srt-4

I was headed home on the 15S passing North County Fair when I noticed a bright red SRT-4 with it's HID's on (4pm, gloomy out). I was going with the flow of traffic staying between 75-80mph but I slowed down and put my hand out the window, signaling him to come up. . When he pulled up next to me, I downshifted to 3rd. I was trying to get an 80 roll but me and the passenger started talking so we slowed down to about 70mph. I think the passenger took me for a dumby, he told me; "your car's too fast!" with a big smile. He knew what was up and so did I so I yelled back sarcastically, "Yeah, I know!". After that we lined up at 70 (DOH) and I honked it off. We stayed even till about 80mph and then he started to pull. I shut down at ~95mph because a car jumped in front of me. He probably pulled 2-3 car lengths.

CLIFFS!
* 70-95 roll
* Stayed even till 80mph
* Let off at ~95mph with the SRT-4 about 2-3 car lengths ahead of me.

Those SRT-4's can be built to be pretty quick, but it would still be just a "runny turd".

Regardless of the outcome, the TL is the real winner.

You really like to race, I saw some thread from you. The TL is not really fast but it's fun isn't it .

Yeah, I post a lot in this section haha. The TL's not super fast, but it's definitely "capable" of surprising more than a few cars on the highway.

haha nice nice, those cars are highway monsters, light and FWD pulls like a beast. Respect for trying though, not to mention if you're bone stock then it wasn't to bad.

Nice run. Those SRT-4's are no joke. I don't even attemt to race them here in tucson. The elevation kills the N/A motors performance and the turbo motors aren't affected as much.

i know what you mean. I have been to flagstaff where its over 7000ft elevation and even here in tucson we get D/A of 6200+ft in the summer months. It feels like a different car haha.
