I've had the TL for almost 9 months now and put over 24 000 km (im Canadian).....about 15 000 miles... and now im having really really squeeky brakes...i've taken it in for service twice since i've noticed it...
the first time the dealer said they dont hear it...the second time (it got worse) the dealer said they don't know what's wrong and said "braking normal at this time, honda aware of some noise working on a fix" ... as i was talkin to the service rep, she also mentioned that this is a problem on other 04TL's......
do u guys have this same problem or know why my brakes are squeeking?

I have the same issue usually in the morning. Took the car in and the dealer says that squeking is normal. Of course it can't be normal but i will take it back in the future. Let us know if your dealers finds something.

Some of the Brembos on the 6MT make a squeeling sound under light pedal pressure, usually at parking lot speeds. My car exhibits this and my dealer has assured me Acura/Honda is working on a fix.

I have Automatic and it sounds the same. I notice it in the morning because i have 3 stops signs every morning that i pass. Dealer assured me it was normal but your dealer is telling you that they have a fix coming.. I hope yours is right.

By squealing, I mean when your brake pad's are down to a minimal thickness and need to be replaced they squeal to let you know it's time for service. On the other hand, the squealing is what others have noticed and been told its a normal characteristic. Be worried if your brakes/rotors are overheated & fade when you apply your brakes.

i have a 5spd auto and the squeeking usually happens when i brake hard....
