Squeaking right front brake

Is this something that dealer will look at?
I got about 12,500 miles on 4 months old '04TL
The right front brake sometimes squeaks when I apply brakes lightly. I would have thought it was a defective brake that was being used up too quickly but this started happening shortly after my A1 service where the dealer said I hae 90% brakes left.

What's Acura's policy on things like that? Will they replace the brakes or just look for the source of the squeak? I plan to bring in the car before my 15,000 mile service for variaety of other issues and that may be something I will want the dealer to look at.

My guess is they will remove the brake pads & apply a Molykote Lubricant to the back of the pads & on the shims. That was usually the first step when I had a complaint of brake noise.

Do you have a vibration in the pedal or steering wheel when the brakes are applied? This could well affect how they deal with the situation.

I recently took my car to the dealer for the same squeeky problem. They replaced the pads and possibly resurfaced my rotors for free. I have 8500 miles on my TL.

Take it back to the dealer, they will fix it for free.

Nope, no vibrations or any brake fade, just a harmless (as far as I can tell) squeak. I'll just add it to the list of things for dealer to look at.
Do Acura dealers normally give a free rental if warranty check-up will take more than a day? I do have a lot of things to look at, and I wouldn't mind driving a new RL for a day (I doubt they have any RL's as rentals though)

Mine squeak like crazy at low speeds and I'm just living with it.
No way I'm letting them resurface my rotors at 7500 miles just so I can get socked with new ones when I actually do need new brake pads.

My pads sqeak too in the morning for the first few times I step on the brakes. I am guessing that it's caused by the thin layer of rust that forms overnight. Once warmed up, the squealing is gone. I don't like anyone to cut my rotors unless absolutely necessary as the reduces braking effectiveness and can increase likelihood of warpage down the line.

My squeaking doesn't go away even when warm.

In fact, I notice it most when coming home and pullimng into my garage when I come home, which usually means the car has been running for a while.

No way I'd let them resurface my rotors either...that cuts material off the rotors and retuces the life, and also could lead to warped rotors down the road. If the squeal won't go away, let them replace the rotors and pads if they can't fix the problem. BTW...I just started getting a squeal on my right rear brake 6MT, so I guess I'll be visiting the dealer soon.

So I am not alone on this. I knew it couldn't be my driving. No matter how aggressively I may or may not use the brakes it should not squeak with 80-90% wear left

My TL squeaks only in the morning!!! Once warmed up...they are fine. I think it is normal for our TL. BUt I will get Acura to look into this in my next service. My friend's G35coupe has this same problem with his and he has only 1500miles on the car!!!!!
