spreading the word

when you guys see other tl owners, do you tell thema bout the site? Couple weeks ago when i saw a fellow tler at the doc's parking lot i was chatting with him about the car and about this website and what a good resource it is. I did the same thing yesterday at the dealer. It's weird but i feel like it's my duty to inform fellow tlers about this great site and all the fricking info it has to offer. i personally would be grateful if someone random came up to me and told me about this site. just my thoughts and , that's all.

It's great to hear you are spreading the word, and every member here ought to be doing the same thing.

You are not only helping another TL owner get the valuable information offered here, you are helping the forum increase its membership.

If I see other TL owners, I would tell them about this site. That's if I get to talk to them. The TL drivers I see are all on the road. On a few occasions the other 3rd gen TL driver would give me a nod and I would nod back. One time at the gas station I saw another 3rd gen TL driver. He gave me a "ws'sup".

I was about to do that one time when I saw a TL parked near a Verizon store. There was a guy in there asking about the MotoV710, so it seemed reasonable that this guy might be the TL owner. When the sales guy walked away to look up some info, I asked the guy if that was his TL outside. He said it was his TL, but pretty much blew me off. If I were to actually talk to other TL owners, I would definitely pass on the word. This site has been a great resource.

I have 6 friends/colleagues/classmates driving 3G TLs, and have told them all about this site, they're all computer-literate, but none of them are registering here.

I've made two of my friend join this site. And they do not have TL and I do not think they'll get one either.

I use this to alert other drivers to the site,

Other than that, I havent run across any other TL drivers actually with their cars.

Anyone know if the "Decal" is designed to be stuck on the inside of the car?

you guys are right..this is a great from. Since I'm new here I'll ask. I was wondering if there is or has ever been something to represent this site? Like a sticker "Acura-TL.com" or license plate frame. If there is, where can I get one? Nothing big..just something simple!!!! I'd like to represent this great site.

I do with my R1-forum...great site for yamaha R1s owners

you can go into any local mall with a sticker shop to make you a acura-tl.com decal.

I usually tell them about the forums, strangers I coincidentally meet, friends and even family.

I find this forums to be extremely resourceful.

I registered a full year before I got a TL. Online forums are a great way to get the ugly truth about cars or other products. As much as we complain about the TL and its bugs, I'm sure other cars are a lot worse. I bet the owners of those cars don't even go online to find out the truth. If they did, they wouldn't be buying junk from the big three. I really hope this forum's membership gets a lot bigger. It makes it easier for us to gang up against dealers when it comes time to get new tires or seats or whatever stuff the dealer will normally try to avoid giving.

hypothetically, this is what it would look like is you moved the "TL" from the right side next to the "ACURA" and found a "-" to put in the middle.

anyone have a spare ".com" hahah

sorry i janked your pic ron jon. didnt know what else to do it too.

I've told colleagues who have the TL about the site, as well as others. This is a great place to find info and just hang....
