Spider in my car

So I went to drive my car yesterday and I see some spider webs on the dash by the vent. I think it is small as there was not that much of the spider web and it was very thin. What could I do aside from sitting in the car and waiting til I see the spider to get rid of it.

Thanks for any help you have.

this is such a girly thread. sorry.

Clean your car's interior thoroughly, and everything will be alright.

I dunno, you could always kill two birds with one stone and do your nails or knit a scarf while you're sitting there waiting for him to appear.

I remember this one day I was pulling my headlights out to do a bulb change and when I was unscrewing the back of the D2s chamber I looked @ the foglight hole, where the base screws in - it consits of 3 or 4 chambers - and low and behold a little spider had crawled into one of'em. He was dead of course - I must have fried him when I flipped the fogs on

"I have a question fellow arachnids. I observed, did my research, and found me a nice home in an Acura. Nothing but the best for the wife and kids! Everyday, I go and make me a web so we can eat. And everyday, the same fucker just keeps tearing my shit down! I wake up hungry as fuck - and no breakfast because of this mofo! I was really pissed yesterday because I modded my web to look like my son's hero "Spider-Man's" costume! Took me all night to do that shit! My ass still aches! What should I do? Should I just wait in the alley between the dash and the big shiny thing and bite the shit out of his ass when he tries to tear it down? Can some of you guys help? Those assholes are pretty big! Thanks!"

Seems like an issue with 3G TL, hope Acura comes through with some sort of recall on this spider issue.

I had a three and a half foot snake loose in my car once. Found it in the middle of the road and stuck it in a box, but it got out and hid up under the dash. Freaked me out as I was coming down the thruway and it hung down from the passenger side and peered around like a periscope. I ended up parking it in the driveway, rolling up the windows and cranking the AC to flush him out!

I just don't feel like getting into my nice clean car and seeing spider webs every where on the dash. IThe web is all over the vents. It is almost like the spider is in the air vents. Last night while driving I turned the heat on high so I wll see if that takes care of it.

I'm pretty sure that they live in the vents, but venture out to leave streamers all over the place

lol...omg!!!! I have one in mine too!!! It started happening a couple weeks ago, I keep seeing spider webs on my dash from the pillars, then today when I opened the back to door to get my bags I saw the culprit sitting on the back seat!!!! I just smacked it..lol....This must be a manufacturers defect, Acura should send out a recall notice...

funny thread

But, if you really think the spider is living in your vents, get to the cabin filter, take it out, turn the fan on high, and spray lysol or any other bacteria and shit killing spray, this should get the spider high enough to lay low for a few months

Afraid of an itsy bitsy little spider ... lol!! I once left my car in garage over the summer for more than a week, and when I returned to open the garage door, a swarm of yellow jackets flew out. I had to hire an exterminer to move my car out of the garage and then kill the bees. So, don't fret about a single spider or two. That is just too sissy

All you guys need to stop hauling around curds and whey. No curds/whey=no spiders (but also no miss muffet either).

If you see the spider, trying stepping on it but don't kill it so he goes and tells the rest of his spider friends that you mean business! That should get them packing their little spider bags and moving out of your car. If that doesn't work, get an owl and leave it in your car. Owls eat spiders.

LOL funny thing is i nearly swiped the car (driving in my blind spot, there's a genius driver for you) about 5 days ago trying to kill a spider crawling on my windshield, but the little fooker got away, so i'm driving all paranoid(hate all insects) looking for this fooker, and isn't he crawling on my knee, luckily i got him, but i can relate to this problem.

On another note that shit by Darksom1 was great but really it isn't that funny when the fooker is in your car.
