A-spec price in NJ

Just wondering what you guys are getting quoted for the A=Spec package on the TL, with installation. I got a quote of $10,000!!!! Kinda extreme if you ask me...I thought the kit retailed for $5k? Also, would I be able to trade in my original 17inch for some money? Thanks.

btw, I'm looking at a 6sp w/ Navi.

Why spend all that money? Buy aftermarket parts and ron jon body kit. Will cost you much less, and look much better.

I wanted to stick w/ factory Acura parts so there will be no future service issues. Plus I like the way the A-spec kit looks a lot.

Either way, 10k is just too much money. Go back to your dealer and spit in his face.

LOL yeah...its way too much. I just wanted to see what people are paying around the forum to get some leverage. The Ron Jon kit looks pretty sweet, a little too much for me though. I'm coming from a E46 M3 and this time I'm going for something less aggressive

You can buy the A-spec parts on ebay for much less. My local dealer wanted $3000 for the A-spec wheels and tires. I got them on Ebay, from an Acura Dealership in Las Vegas for $2150 balanced and ready to mount. I installed them in 30 min. This is one example of the money you can save if you do some shopping online.

For each his own. If you like the Ron Jon's, buy them. This thread is about the pricing of the A-spec kit, not an aftermarket kit.

I personally like the A-spec Black Chrome wheels over any Ron Jon set. Its all a matter of personal choice and taste.
As far as I'm concerned, I saved $850 + sales tax for the wheels and tires (yokos)I wanted.

dude just buy it from ebay, 4000$ shipped for everything include the streeing wheel and brakes. sell your stock 17 wheels and tires for 500-800$. install them yourself very easy to do, especially the body kit but you need to take off you rear bumper to drill holes. sides easy, front easy. spoiler is the easiest. streeing wheel the hardest. mount the wheels and tires at a tire shop for 40-50$ and put them on yourself if they are charging you more to put them on.

it`s what i did! take your time and research. i sold my wheels and tires for 650$ and in total i paid 3350$ for all aspec kit.

Whoa, that's a great price! Doesn't the A-spec come with some sort of suspension component also? Like springs/shocks? If i can just get the kit on ebay and have the dealer install it, that might be good for me also. Thanks!

yes i forgot the suspension. i paid somebody to do the suspension, labor is around 200-300 since back seats need to come off. i would`ve done them my self but didn`t want the pain. suspension already come compressed so all you need to do is remove old ones and slide these right in!

best thing to do is become freinds with couple of the acura dealer workers and they will intall them for you under the table after hours, you know what i mean
