A-Spec Lip fit a '08 Base?
Hey guys, would a 07-08 Type S A-spec lip fit a 08 TL with no problems or imma have to make some mods? All I know is imma have to paint it since they only come on Type s colors
if you notice the way the fog lights are shaped on your car versus the type-s, you'll notice that its a different shape ALL together.
you would have to make some cuts into the type-s aspec kit to have it flow with your base fog lights

Justinspace is 100% correct. Base model looks like its smiling, an the s type looks like its frowning. Easiest way 2 put it. The fog lights completly different. I wouldnt attemp it, especially if you have 2 paint it anyway. Purchase the base lip

The area which I circled in red is the only difference between the Type-S and base IIRC.
Get that part molded to shape like Jaime did and you're good!

The Lip I'm Looking At on ebay looks bigger than the one in the pic, idk how to post a pic on this so I can show you guys lol but I appreciate the help, is there any where else I can buy a lip that its not ebay?

The base lip fits your base model.
The type-s aspec will need to be modify to fit your base. However, you can attach it to the base bumper but you will have an uneven fog light cut.
Honestly, if you really like the type-s one; go for it. I put a 04-06 base lip on my type-s front bumper (modify ofcourse).

The foglights aren't different between the Base and Type S 07-08 TL's, the only thing that is different are the grilles over the foglights. Just thought i'd put that in there.

Yeah man thats exactly the lip im looking for, so it would fit perfectly on the bumper? Like Idc if I need to cut the lil parts for the fog lights but im more worried about if it will fit in the bumper right or imma have to make some more mods?

I used the tape it came with but it ls no longer sticky because snow got onto it. When i get time im gonna double up 3m tape evrrywhere. And only thing you have to do is remove the lower grilles. And drill 4 holes. It goes over the foglights so ya dont gotta cut.
