A-Spec Front Lip Re-Attachment?

In short, I got a new bumper and the shop took off the lip from the old bumper and put it on the new bumper. It is screwed in fine and stuff and fits well, but I'm a perfectionist and you can tell it is a little off (like the front isn't a tight fit and there there are tiny spaces on the sides, unlike when I installed it I made sure it was a nice tight fit), and this is probably because they re-used the sticky tape and/or the alignment was a millimeter off. Ya I know, I'm anal about these things.

WITHOUT going back to the shop, is there some easy way to fix it? Basically I think putting some more sticky tape on the front part will do the trick but the space is soo small I can't even get the tape in there. I don't really want to remove the lip and put it back on myself but is that really the only way to get it to be a pefect fit like I had it before?

I think it was michaelbenz who made a thread on this, it should be in the 3G garage. It was tittle fix body gaps with 3m tape.

Basically what he did was pull the lip forward, take off the old tape, clean the contact areas, then apply 2x layers of the double sided tape. I'll look in the 3G garage...

Thanks for the post link csmeance . I guess my only issue might be pulling the lip forward. They say you can just have a friend pull it forward while you weasel yourself to fit the tape in but do you think it will fk up the bolts that have it tied down or is it flexible enough to not?

^ I already have that, but thanks anyways! Plus I don't want to totally reinstall it. It looks like I should be able to just fit some tape in the creases to tighten the fit.
