Quick question.. I am wondering if there is a difference between 2004 A-Spec front lips and a 2008 base A-spec front lip..

I had my front lip ordered from an auto body shop here, and when I went to look at the lip to make sure I got the right one, it didn't seem right.. From my understanding, the A-Spec front lip has a "two-tone" paint job (standard pearl paint, with a dark grey flat on the bottom/middle). The lip that came in is a solid NBP.. I just want to make sure I ordered the correct part.

They are two different designs. Make sure you get the correct one.

 

Any idea on the correct part number I'd need to get the two-tone one?

 

I've never seen one that's all one color.

 

That's where my concern lies... the part number that I was given is 08F01-SEP240A

I just want to make sure I'm getting the correct part

 

2007 up is only one color. it isn't two toned like the 04-06 version.

Thanks for the update guys! Just wanted to make sure that I was getting the right part.

Hoping this lip looks good! Figured the car was in the shop to get a new front bumper, why not pick up an A-Spec lip in the process right?

 

I find any A-Spec lip will look good!

 

I'm hoping! Are the rear A-Spec lips the same size for 04-08 bases? I'll be looking to pick one of these up this summer once I get a better exhaust setup

 

The 04-08 base rear A-Spec is the same =)

If I were to do it again, I would get a Type-S rear A-Spec lip and weld on some quad tips or find a Type-S exhaust.

 

That's actually what I was thinking about doing. The quad exhaust looks awesome on our cars, and I'm sure I can find a Type-S exhaust for a good price
