sometimes i hate myself... (good body shop in Miami?)

Well, I did the dumbest thing possible today. While backing to a single spot at my back I missed the fact that a stop sign was there and I cut it a little too close....

I scratched up the back part of the car pretty damn good; but thankfully it only happened on the plastic bumper and not the metal fender. The worst part is I just got this car two weeks ago!!! ARG! I'm really more pissed at myself more than anything else.

So does anybody know of an excellent body shop in the south florida area (Miami to West Palm)? I just want the best end result possible!

Thanks!

I can post pics tomorrow afternoon if anybody is interested

I used to back into a parking spot all the time...Than I thought about this:

If someone hits my car while there parking their car...you will most likely have more damage cost..since the damage is in the front bumper or hood or even engine...of course there alot of different circumstances..

I guess I'f rather have my back bumper get hit instead of my front where the engine and the important stuff is at.

I know there can be major probs too if the cat back system is pushed back into the engine.

Just a lil thought.

Sorry I live in Tampa Bay...wouldn't be able to help you on a shop.

That's a good point, and thanks for the reply.

I usually don't back into parking spaces, but the parking lot at my bank is a PITA! So that's just how it had to be...

I would check out Carls Body Shop, its in Kendall.
They do most of the work for miami acura, and they did an excellent job on my car. When some Idiot in a civic screwed up my bumper.

avddreamr - You wouldn't happen to have their phone number would you? Or even just tell me where they are so I can look them up. Thanks

Oh that might be even better as I drive by there all the time. As long as they don't screw me on the price! I may stop by there tomorrow.

Thanks!

I didn't have to chance to get over there this week. But I'll check them out. I went to the Acura dealer in West Palm and they said they have a "guy" who works in a tent out back... sounded a little messed up to me so I'm going to hed to Rick's.
