Honking the horn
Honking the horn
Has anybody ever honked their horn, only to find out that the horn is actually stuck for a good 10 seconds untill you can get it lose? It happened to me the other day driving on main street, this guy swerved over near my side so I just wanted to honk the horn quickly and it got stuck for a good 15 seconds.

Never had a problem with it getting "stuck."

Horn stuck
I've had it happen to me. The traffic ahead of me was all stopped with everyone waiting to make a left turn at a stop sign. All traffic to the left was stopped because of a stuck train. So I check for cops and pull into the opposite lane (safely of course) since I am only behind 3 vehicles, so I can make a right and be on my way. Well as I am about to turn right in front of a dump truck stopped at the corner I go to give him two honks as a warning that I am coming through and a thank you. Well the horn got stuck, so now the truck driver thinks I am some a**hole who thinks he's entitled to blast his way through and starts pulling out to block me.
It was very embrassing. I put my hand up as if saying I am sorry but for the life of me could not figure out a hand gesture to show him that my horn was stuck.

SAME HERE! First time I ever used the horn, I wanted to lay on it real good because I was turning left, and someone did the classic turn left around me because I wasn't quick enough for them. I originally thought that it was the other guy laying on his horn back at me, until I got on the side street and realized it was ME! I kept pounding on it until it stopped. Probably about 15 seconds, but seemed like an eternity. I tried it (all alone) later, and hasn't recurred.
