Something fell down under the driver or passangers seat..

After class, i left something above the cupholders. while driving, i had to turn, and during that turn, the item flew off and i think went under the seat.

Its really hard to get under the seat..
whats the best way to look for something under the seat? what methods do you use?

this is something really important so any ideas would be great

thanks

sit in the backseat and move the front seats all the way up, you will see all kinds of cool things under there. i found three quarters, a piece of gum, and a lemon mike and ike. you can do the opposite too, sit in the front seats and move them all the way back. it is kind of a pain but you will be able to get most of whatever is under there if you just move the seat as close to the steering wheel as possible.

i also use one of those extendable antenna style magnets for fallen nuts and bolts.

Hey bro, if it is just "under" the seats, it should be easy to get to. Just move your seats all the way forward, or all the way backward, and you should be able to reach anything underneath them. Doing this will also allow you to reach in between the seat and center console on the d/s and p/s with less problems! Hope this helps!

The "ITEM" is probably between the rail of the seat and the center console. Bitch to get to, push the seat all the way forward and have your skinny friend slide his hand up in there. Or you can use like a spatula and try to push the "item" closer so you can get it.

You Shady Mofo you!!!

You might need to break out the hemostats so as not to damage your "item".

^^^ That's the first thing I thought too. I was going to suggest borrowing a small child's arm for this mission but I'm guessing that might not be appropriate.

there is this long thing tool, that is used to pick up things when working around the car, its not a magnet, but has those grasps hands, its about 7 bux. (I forgot what its called but its the same design as when you are attempting to win a prize at those toy machines that grab on the object)

it's something like this:

this thing helped me a lot, when I was aiming my headlights, I use the multi-tool and the adapter fell inside, I spent 2 days trying to get it out, bought the tool, 2 minutes later I got the adapter out...

Its so true a proper tool will always save you time.

You can pull off the seat if you're feeling adventurous.
