Someone doesnt like me, what should I do?

Well, while I was walking out of starbucks today I came across a nice dent on the rear right side of my car. . Honestly it looks like an elbow or a fist was taken to it.

Now... Last night after grappling, I ate at Village Inn and saw my Ex's sister there (she could have done it). While at work maybe or at starbucks (but doubtful). This really sucks.

My question is: What route would you guys take to fix this and how much would it cost? Those self-dent removers wouldn't work, would they?

I know my car is dirty.... doesnt stop raining in FL.

heat gun and pop it out from the back -- also get a roller (like used for laminate surfaces) and push it out.

or suction cup it out from the outside, and deal with the 2/3 kinks across that body line

Man....

You might also try calling someone that does PDR (Paintless Dent Removal). I know they're good for small dents/door dings, but you can just try and see if they're able to do it. You should be able to find people in your local yellowpages or google it.

hope this helps - good luck!

In your opinion, which would be the better option. Thanks

Take it to a Paintless Dent Removal place. They will be able to pop that back out with a a problem. Honestly I wouldnt try and mess with it. Just take it somewhere should come out no problem.

If you mean my avatar.. I explained that long time ago.

I just washed my car as well... it's FL's rain and road construction

I really hope that paintless dent removal will be able to do it... b/c I'm afraid of the bodyline.

If you can't find a PDR from the yellow pages, check with your dealer or any big body shop.

That's the way to go. You will never be able to do the job they can do and it's worth the money. Trunk dents are easy because they can get to the inside of the dent easily without removing anything more than the trunk liner.

i always thought that breaking a crease/seam in your metal is really hard to return to natural shape. I hope it works man, that bites

Go with the PDR

A good paintless dent remover should be able to pop that back out and use a dolly to match the crease. It will probably cost you about $100.

A coworker had hail damage on his car, including on his hood that had a crease it, it and the local Dent Doctor got them all out.

Is her fist or elbow made out of iron or something? If she can do that to your car, just think what she can do to you :-)

I would heat it fromt he inside with a heat gun til you can feel the heat on the outside n then hit it to see if it pops back into place.

When I worked at a dealership I saw far worse dents come out fine with PDR. If you find someone that is really good at it, it shouldn't be a problem.

where in florida are you at? You can remove the dent yourself, all you have to do is take off the liner in the trunk, use a heat gun back there and push it out slowly. If you are scared to do this take the liner off and get a paintless dent removal guy to fix it. It will save you cash to take out the liner as he won't have to drill a hole to get back there and it will be exposed.

Just pay the money to the PDR dude....trust me...its worth it. Screw it up yourself and THEN take it....then what? Just pay the man and dont try to be a hero....it rarely pays unless you know what you are doing.

yea, thats a powerful fist if a chick hit that... probably something thrown at it

go for the PDR, because it will be cheaper. it may not look PERFECT.. but it wont cost $1000 to fix.. if a body shop banged it out the old fashion way, sanded, primed, painted it will cost good money. several hundred, if not close to a grand

it will cost more than 1000 if he wants it done right. if u paint only that panel the rest of the side wont match..... you'd have to paint the side of the car.

Kind of got a little off topic... going to call the PDR people this weekend.

It's Dooley (hence my S/N). Dooley is a Korean dinosaur cartoon. He lost his mother/father and pretty much the cartoon is about him trying to find them. I was adopted when I was four, and I'm Korean... and sooner or later I want to find my birth parents. happy guys
