Solution to Brake Dust Problem

www.kleenwheels.com. Company makes a shield that fits between rim and brake disc. Supposedly the shield keeps the dust off the rim. Sell for about $53 a pair. Thought some of you might be interested in this and if you decide to buy, let us know how they work out.

Good catch, Hawhyen51. I don't know if there are different manufacturers for these things but this company claims no problems regarding heat build-up or premature wear. I also did not see a listiing on the site for 04 TL's (yet) but perhaps the 03's would fit. I personally am not fanatic enough to consider them, but just wanted others to know they were out there. FWIW.

stay away from those brake dust shields. what i found useful was an Eagle 1 product A2Z wheel cleaner. its pretty cheap(5 bucks or so) and cleans most of the wheel. i don't wait till the wheel is black before cleaning(ever 2-3 weeks). i found it more effective when i sprayed the wheel cleaner on the wheel when its dry. i left soak for 20 seconds and rinse. about 90% of the dust comes off. its pretty simple and keeps your wheels looking shiny.

I use Zymol after every few washings. It does help to keep brake dust from collecting on the wheels.

The Wheel Mates are a pretty good idea, but I'd stay FAR away from the dust covers.
